Carbon cycle

Carbon cycle is one of the most important process in the world. Carbon cycle shows the pathway of a chemical element called Carbon.

How it works

There are four parts, where most of carbon exists:

  1. Soil
  2. Atmosphere
  3. Food
  4. Oceans/other

Soil

Carbon is stored in the soil from dead animals and plants

Atmosphere

Most commonly, Carbon Dioxide is stored in the earth's atmosphere.

Food

Through photosynthesis, Carbon Dioxide is converted into Glucose. Then glucose can be used for energy in respiration processes.

Oceans etc.

Carbon's compounds are stored in various places.
